Surveillance and reconnaissance are crucial aspects of land and maritime security. Utilising the latest agile and advanced UAS technologies, equipped with market leading intelligence and data collection capabilities and experience, IRIS is able to deliver a comprehensive surveillance security service whatever the government, civilian or commercial requirement. From covert border control support, monitoring major global events to maritime protection, the Group facilitate solutions that support the collation of evidential material and risk assessment.

Successful search and rescue is time dependent – only rigorous training and knowledge gained from experience can deliver rapid efficacy, IRIS operators and equipment have the knowledge to deliver this capability. Airborne infra red and thermal imaging cameras supported by state of the art data analysis software identify persons lost in hostile terrain, or following natural catastrophes. No longer do people always need to be put in danger zones to analyse and solve a situation.

  • Inspections

IRIS provides comprehensive cost effective solutions for the highly accurate aerial inspection of industrial installations or the survey of civil engineering projects or other structures.

Using state of the art advanced sensors such as LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) and hyperspectral, traditional HD live video, still or thermal imagery capabilities coupled with data analysis, the company provide the most advanced and detailed inspection reports. Infrastructure inspection is a crucial aspect of managing the integrity of critical Oil and Gas (on or offshore) installations, Petrochemical sites, Power Stations and Chimney Stacks.

Comprehensive and routine inspection of Power and Utility company networks, solar panels and wind turbines, are of paramount importance to maintaining maximum productivity. UAS provide immediate inspection data on the condition of these infrastructures, facilitating critical operational or maintenance decisions and as such reduce dependence on inspection personnel and production down time, to offer genuine economic benefits and reduced health and safety risks.

  • Survey & Agriculture

With specialists in the field of aerial land surveying and geo-mapping, IRIS deliver highly accurate topographic data for the analysis of cultural, environmental or agricultural purposes. Precise site surveys for ongoing or planned civil engineering road, rail, aqueduct, viaduct and bridge construction works, or canal and flood defence management are vital to the delivery of socio-economic projects.  From detailed aerial surveying of heritage sites, to erosion mapping for coastal defences, UAS provide cost-effective solutions for the collation of real time scientific data.

In recent years Precision Agriculture has seen a rapid expansion. The financial benefits of operating UAS to access and increase productivity, alongside the software integration of GPS managed robotic machinery delivering the capability on the ground has been impressive. Crop management has seen a revolution in terms of efficiency and productivity with the use of robotics, one of the most significant innovations in recent farming methods.

  • Training and Consultancy

With over 4,000 (manned) and 5,000 (unmanned) collective flying hours the IRIS team have seen operational experience in some of the most challenging terrains of the world’s global theatres and as such are some of the finest and experienced aviators and UAS specialists in the commercial world today. First hand industry experience within the robotics industry that includes the manufacture, procurement, airworthiness, operation and training of systems mean that the IRIS team can offer comprehensive training and consultancy packages, tailored to the specifics of each customer requirement.

Whether a government, commercial or humanitarian operation, IRIS market knowledge can deliver an appropriate concept of operations and facilitate familiarity with technological advances in the latest data collation and analysis software. Its pool of experienced Image Analysts are at the forefront of today’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) delivery and development.
